Summary:Program booklet for the dedication of a United States postage stamp commemorating range conservation, given at the 14th annual banquet of the American Society of Range Management. Rudolph Wendelin, U.S. Department of Agriculture, designed the stamp, and Charles M. Russell's acclaimed drawing, "The Trail Boss" was chosen as the image for it and as the Society's emblem. J. Edward Day, the (then) U.S. Postmaster General, presented the stamp albums. Actors Paul Brinegar and Sheb Wooley of the television show, "Rawhide," provided entertainment, as well as local musicians. Facsimiles of the stamp (in color) and of J. Edward Day's autograph appear on page [3]. A black and white facsimile of "The Trail Boss", brief biography of Charles Marion Russell, and details on the making of the stamp are on the last page.
