Abstract:The research project developed separate tools for evaluating intersections and roadway segments. These tools could be used to evaluate both the safety and cost-effectiveness of: 1. Individual highway safety improvement projects at intersections and roadway segments. 2. Groups of similar types of projects, widely known as countermeasures, treatments, or work codes.
