|a Niall Kenny, bibliographer, note: This is a rare printing of this book, however, the printer's imprint (on the bottom of page 324) is still "Richardson and Son, Derby." Despite this, the frontispiece is quite different from the standard Richard issue of this book. The date is conjectured but is likely to be correct as from 1855 "Thomas Allman" became "Thomas Allman and Son," and another identical printing dated 1857 has the latter imprint.
