He composed two Te Deum settings during that time to celebrate his patron's victories. This volume presents the first setting, which features the Russian version of the Latin Te Deum text.
Item Description:The orchestra parts originally included parts for a Russian horn band. These have been replaced with an organ reduction in the score, with the original Russian horn band parts and a trombone reduction thereof included as appendices.
