Individual title pages bear dates between 1791 and 1802, and from 1791 to 1795 bear the imprint "printed for, and under the direction of, John Bell". Each of the 140 plays originally issued separately by either John Bell (1-106, 108, 111, 114, 118) or George Cawthorn (107, 109-110, 112-113, 115-117, 119-140) from 1791-1797; their original issue number is indicated in the contents notes by brackets.
