Item Description:	Includes preface, introduction and critical report in English. Ries composed op. 150 quartets in A minor (no. 1) and E minor (no. 2) at Bad Godesberg in 1826; he composed op. 150 quartet in G minor (no. 3) at Hastings in 1823. This edition is based on the manuscript scores of Quartets 1 and 3. No manuscript survives for the second quartet; for this work this edition uses the first print.
