There are several re-settings of the "second" edition; in this issue, signature C is under the "d" of "hated", on p.33,line 2 has "Wou'd", line 10 ends "dis-", signature D is under the first "r" of "travers'd." The Cushing Library/Rare Books copy was acquired as part of the Lois Goddard Morrison Collection of Eighteenth Century Literature. The Cushing Library/Rare Books copy has a separate leaf identifying some of the persons mentioned in volume 2; perhaps this is the "Key to Atalantis" described in ESTC T155163. |
