A second volume was issued; the two were published later with "Memoirs of Europe towards the close of the eighth century" as the New Atalantis.
One of several states. In this state signature C is under the apostrophe in "harden'd"; 3rd line from bottom of page 1 reads: "Globe!" ; 1st line on page 33 ends "Law"; page 246 is numbered correctly.
The Cushing Library/Rare Books copy was acquired as part of the Lois Goddard Morrison Collection of Eighteenth Century Literature.
