Description
Item Description:Pointed and often humorous illustrations referencing the experiences of the soldiers throughout the image, including lustful G.I.s ogling frauleins, piles of smelly manure, free beer, surrendering German soldiers and "off-limits" signs. Four diagrams (including one disguised as laundry out to dry) show the units that made up the division. The divisional insignia in the center is of an exploding swastika, a not-so-subtle reference to the role played by the 71st during the conquest of Nazi Germany.
