Abstract:	This work is organized chronologically. The compiler presents us with epistolary documents, that is, communications of a private or semi-public nature. With reference to this last denomination, it can be said that this volume gathers letters addressed to the authorities, such as petitions, discharges or reports that are not intended for a vast audience. All the epistolary documents have been chosen by Baptista Gumucio because of their informative value to better understand Bolivian history and its multiple backgrounds, which are often not explained in the history books. / H.C.F.
