Summary:The classic saga of King Arthur and those around him in the Court-- the knights, his Queen, and the wizard Merlin. After Arthur draws Excalibur from a stone, he becomes King. Guided by Merlin, Arthur marries Guenevere and gathers the Knights of the Round Table. However, Arthur's reign as king and the land is soon threatened when an unfaithful Guinevere betrays Arthur and falls for the brave knight Sir Lancelot and Arthur's evil half-sister, the sorceress Morgana, seeks to avenge her father. Disguising herself as Guinevere, Morgana seduces Arthur into siring a son with him--the evil Mordred, who may prove to be his downfall.
