The TRB National Cooperative Highway Research Program's NCHRP Research Report 1010: In-Service Performance Evaluation: Guidelines for the Assembly and Analysis of Data presents uniform criteria for conducting ISPEs of both permanent and temporary safety features. Supplemental to the report are NCHRP Web-Only Document 332: Multi-State In-Service Performance Evaluations of Roadside Safety Hardware, which documents the development of the guidelines and the entire research effort; the ISPE Data Set and Analysis Template, a spreadsheet tool to aid in the calculations of each evaluation measure shown in this report and to support the documentation of an ISPE; Implementation of Research Findings and Products, a plan that identifies mechanisms and channels for implementing this research; and a presentation that summarizes the project." -- from publisher's website
