Title page vignette; head-pieces; illustrated initials. Final page blank. The Intelligencer was a weekly paper published in Dubin by Jonathan Swift and Dr. Thomas Sheridan. There were 20 numbers issued. These papers were printed collectively in London in 1729, and a second edition, "by the author of A tale od a tub", in 1730. Cf. The Cushing Library/Rare Books copy was acquired as part of the Lois Goddard Morrison Collection of Eighteenth Century Literature. |
