A reprint of the Medley [no. 1-45; Oct. 5, 1710-Aug. 6, 1711] and the Whig-examiner [no. 1-5; Sept. 14-Oct. 12, 1710]. Paging of the Medleys irregular: nos. 169-192 repeated, nos. 193-216 omitted. The Whig-examiner was edited by Joseph Addison. The first number appeared Oct. 5, 1710. Publication ceased with the 45th number, Aug. 6, 1711. It was revived Mar. 3, 1712, but only ran till Aug. 4, again 45 numbers. With a final alphabetical table. The Cushing Library/Rare Books copy was acquired as part of the Lois Goddard Morrison Collection of Eighteenth Century Literature. |
