| Summary: | Contains digitized video footage and audio recordings from the Hernán Contreras '62 "Collection of NASA Events Film Reels" and the Gerald D. "Gerry" Griffin '56 "Collection of NASA Video and Audio Recordings." The videos include silent footage and promotional films with sound that depict various NASA flights and projects, including the Apollo missions and Skylab program, from the early 1970s to the mid-1990s. This collection also contains audio recordings from a press conference and selected episodes of NASA radio programs ("NASA Space Stories," "NASA Space Notes," NASA Special Reports") that were produced for the general public. In particular, NASA Space Stories was a weekly radio show featuring stories of interest about NASA programs and projects.
