The park, less than 4,000 square feet, is the first permanent, free-standing memorial in America dedicated to the thousands of persecuted homosexuals in Nazi Germany during the Holocaust of World War II. The Cushing Library/Women & Gender Studies copy was acquired as part of The Don Kelly Research Collection of Gay Literature and Culture. Purchased for the Cushing Library/Women & Gender Studies collection by The Cushing Library. |
