Containing Wilde's "Phrases and philosophies for the use of the young" and two poems by Lord Alfred Douglas, along with unsigned (and not clearly identifiable) contributions by Max Beerbohm, Lionel Johnson, and others; "The priest and the acolyte," often attributed to Wilde, is in fact the work of the anonymous editor, John Francis Bloxam.
