| Item Description: | Kit containing 13 corked, labeled vials of various powders and pills (6 medium size vials and 7 small vials); 3 large empty bottles with screw-on metal lids; and 1 prescription scale. Prescription scale- Dr. C. H. Fitch's Prescription Scale; manufactured by N. V. Randolph & Co. in Richmond, VA. Pieces include a weigh-boat, spatula, scale, and counter weights of various sizes. Dr. J.D. Everett was a physician in Texas in the 1880s-1900s. His family donated this collection to the Medical Sciences Library, Texas A&M University in October 2015. |
