| Item Description: | Metal funnel attached to a tube with a small hole, with two hooks attached to the tube. Medication was placed in container, and then bit placed in a horses mouth where the medication slowly drained out of the hole onto the horses tongue. This bit once belonged to Robert Vincent Taylor [1872-1944] the father of Dr. Jack Taylor [1915-1984], graduate of Texas A&M College of Veterinary Medicine, of San Angelo. It was given to Dr. R.D. Turk and later to Dr. J. W. Dollahite. Robert Taylor was a 1908 graduate of the McKillip Veterinary College in Chicago. |
