|a Seller Niall Kenny description: Large medicine bottle (dating from c. 1900) from one of our local veterinary practices. The practice was founded by the Taylor family in c. 1836 and is still in existence as Taylor Vets of Cathkin, near Glasgow. It must be one of the oldest continuously trading private veterinary practices in the World, if not indeed the oldest, and it still operates out of the original (much modified) building. The last family member retired in the 1980’s and I felt I should at least offer the item to the practice but sadly no one there seemed that interested.
