Text in 3 columns, each headed with one word: "Diseases", "Symptoms" and "Cure". Text on lines follows across, with the disease, its symptoms, and its cure on one line. Under "Diseases", conditions are bracketed to the left into groups: "Body", "Legs", "Hock", "Cannon", "Fetlock & coronet" and "Feet". Under "Cure", some cures have numbers ("Dress with 25, give 4 occasionally.") that refer to the other document, "Recipe's for horse medicine" found in H.S. Rarey book. |
