The plate in the RVC copy is clearly correct as it has the name of drop-head title for the first text page ("Veterinary Transactions") below the plate and the same printer as the book. The image is of two gentlemen talking whilst surrounded by animals. Preface signed "J. Feron, Veterinary Surgeon. 12th Light Dragoons. Sandwich, Aug. 13, 1809." Printer's imprint: "Printed by John Arliss, Bartholomew Close, London."
