| Summary: | Niall Kenny description: Very rare, and oddly seems to be the first book in English devoted solely to the management and diseases of the cat. Necker claims another printing in 1857 exists though no copies traced. A 2nd edition appeared in 1870, with a '10th' edition in ca. 1893 as part of "Drane's Universal Manuals". Oddly the pagination given in COPAC indicates only 28 un-numbered pages but NLS copy identical to my copy, except my copy was in its original coloured wrappers. The title above is as it appeared on the wrappers, although the actual title page misses out the "Dedicated ... ". Printer's imprint: "Printed by J. E. Adlard, Bartholomew Close."
