This book seems to be unrecorded but the main text appeared again in 1740 as the appendix to another book "The instructor: or, young man's best companion...", by George Fisher, also published by S. Birt. The text in that book lacks the preliminary pages, but has the initials "JR" and the date "Sept. the 27th, 1739" at the end of the farriery text. This continued up to 1744 (see ESTC numbers T205071, T95728, N8728, T223388, N70456 and T122645); thereafter all editions had the text but the signature and the date were omitted. |
