There seem to be variant issues of this printing; one has no printed lines on title page, p1 and the index page (see on-line copy from HL). Also some copies on ESTC seem to have an extra leaf "page 95" and an additional advert leaf at the end. However no copies examined have had this extra leaf (or any sign of it ever being there as all catch-words are correct), or the advert leaf (and one was in its original wrappers and was completely as issued). Suspect the ESTC listing is incorrect and may refer to an aberrant copy. Interestingly all examined copies (and the on-line variant) have the same word erased by hand on p 20 (3rd line 2nd paragraph, 'being'), and the first word on p 45 altered to 'For'. The last 3 pages of the collation include the blank leaf. |
