Description
Summary:Niall Kenny description: Excellent copy, miniature version of Burdon's book, bound with 3 other pamphlets in contemporary quarter calf; bookplate of Douglas Peter Crossman, and Richard Prime; from Christie's auction 5310 1/9/08; seems to be unrecorded, and is the earliest version of the miniature plagiarised version of Burdon which was produced by many different printers over the next 100 years (often accompanied by a plate of horses teeth); these many copies seem to have identical text, and are always 34-35 pages long.
Item Description:"This little tract has been in great estimation for these fifty years past, and has gone thro' many editions in Ireland. The remedies it prescribes are simple and easily obtained, and never fail of a cure, where the disorder is curable; and no man who values his horse, should presume to travel without it." title page.
