Woodcuts: large title vignette (8 x 8 cm) of a blacksmith's shop showing the legend of St. Alo (i.e. Eligius) and shoeing a reluctant horse (the saint is shown holding the lower part of the leg with the hoof to be shod while a man supports the three-legged horse); another large vignette (8 x 5 cm) at head of chapter on falconry (leaf G¹) of a mews depicting two men caring for falcons with a hound lying between them; beginning with the verso of leaf [G⁷] there are two woodcuts per page for the next [19] pages, with one on the recto of I¹, of two styles of bits per woodcut.
