Summary:Poster advertising a benefit concert organized by the War Committee of the city of Evreux in honor of the American forces in France, and held on Sunday, 19 August, 1917 from 3:30-5:30 pm at the public garden of Evreux. The program included a "Marche Américaine" by Trespaillé-Barrau, excerpts from the opera "Philémon et Baucis" by Charles Gounod, "Ballet d'Isoline" by André Messager, and other works, as well as "Home, Sweet Home", "The Star-Spangled Banner" and "La Marseillaise". One of the organizers, Louis Ernst, was an opera singer who performed at the concert.
