Summary:	In this important decree, the Mexican states announce the results of the "newly revised" presidential election in which Vicente Guerrero was elected president and Anastasio Bustamante as vice president. Manuel Gomez Pedraza won the electoral vote and was initially declared President, but lGuerrero won the popular vote. Claiming "election fraud" and going against the Constitution of 1824, Guerrero staged a coup; under duress, president-elect Gomez Pedraza renounced his victory and went into exile. This broadside gives the first public announcement of the new voting from each Mexican state; eight states had vote for candidates other than Guerrero and Bustamente.--Condensed from vendor data.
