| Item Description: | Accompanying authentication statement is handwritten, signed by Harold Monro on headed Poetry Bookshop notepaper "38 Great Russell Street, London", dated 30/5/28. "The accompanying ms. was sent for "Poetry & drama", volume 1, number 1, March 1913, in which it occupied 4 pp." Accompanying photocopy is a handwritten signed letter from Hellé Flecker to Flecker's friend Mr. Mavrogordato dated the year of his death concerning the publication of fragments of Flecker's poem "Ode to [the glory of] Greece" in Monro's "Chapbook". Purchased for the Cushing Library/Lit./Mitchell collection by The Cushing Library. |
