Maps include color illustrations of ships, seas monsters, and decorative compass roses. This series of three maps of the ficitional Republic of Zendia were produced by Lambros D. Callimahos for the top-secret NSA course, CA-400, where participants worked on the "Zendian Problem." "It has been argued, by Charles Varga and others, that Zendia is a proxy of the Isle of Pines (Cuba), and that the 'Zendian Problem', as it wasknown, was a training exercise for the 1961 Cold War invasion of Cuba." --vendor's description.
