Item Description:	Engraving by Christiaan van Adrichem derived from 1584 map by Franz Hogenberg and Arnold de Loose; see R.A. Skeltons Introduction to the 1980 facs. edition of Civitates orbis terrarum. Title beneath city crest at upper right. French letterpress text on verso. "Map shows over 250 important biblical sites, including the fourteen Stations of the Cross" --vendor description. Relief shown pictorially. "59" on verso. Verso of map includes a description of the city of Jerusalem and bible verses. The Cushing Library copy is part of the Ronald L. and V. Jane Woellhof Rare Map Collection.
