Frank and Juanita were deaf and mute which might explain the spelling of their son's name which was actually Ronald Gene Jackson. |

The Office of Price Administration (OPA) originally issued the first World War II War ration books in May 1942, "book two" in January 1943, "book three" in October 1943, and "book four" at the end of 1943. Most rationing restrictions ended in August 1945 except for sugar rationing, which lasted until 1947 in some parts of the country. Title devised by cataloger. |
