Item Description:In two parts. Part 1 is an Oxford H. Hall reprint of John Booker's Mercurius cœlicus, with sarcastic marginal notes by George Wharton (who used the pseudonym Naworth). Part 2, Wharton's Mercurio-cœlico mastix, has a separate dated title page and separate pagination; register is continuous.
Page 14 is misnumbered 4.
This edition of part 1 has no title page border.
Annotation on Thomason copy: "March 4th 1643".
Part 2 (Thomason E.35[13]) = Wing W1550, though it was not issued separately (compare Madan).
