Item Description:	Caption title. Royal arms at head of text; initial letter. Signed at foot of text: Tho. Hay, Cl. Sti Concilii. Prohibits the importation of Bibles from abroad in order to continue the monopoly, previously enjoyed by the late Andrew Anderson as royal printer, in favour of his heir. Heir referred to in Andrew Anderson firm was in fact Agnes Anderson. Imperfect: stained with some loss of text. Reproduction of the original in the National Library of Scotland.
