Item Description:	Another edition lacks the author's name on the title page. "A proposition for the serving and supplying of London, Westminster, and other places adjoyning; .." has caption title on pages 15. A plan to improve navigation on the river Lea, from Stanstead, Essex, to London. Sir Edward Ford's "A designe for bringing a navigable river from Rickmansworth ..", published in 1641, concerned canal building adjacent to the river Colne (compare Wing (2nd edition) F1519). Cropped at foot affecting imprint; leaf tipped in between title page and first page of text. Reproduction of the original in the British Library.
