A third letter to the Lord Bishop of Carlisle, Lord Almoner to His Majesty, upon the subject of Bishop Merks : wherein the nomination, election, investiture, and deprivation of English prelates are shew'd to have been originally constituted and govern'd by the sovereign power of kings and their Parliaments : against the pretensions of our new fanaticks who have withdrawn themselves from the establish'd church into a separate communion under the name of some deprived bishops and their supposed successors.

An essay on ecclesiastical authority : in which the pretence of an independent power in the church, to a divine right in the election of bishops; to the invalidity of lay deprivations; to the inseparable relation of a bishop to his see; to an obligation of continuing communion with the deprived bishops; and several other things relating to the nonjurors separation from our church, are particulary and impartially examined. By John Turner, D.D. Vicar of Greenwich, and chaplain to His Royal Highness the Prince.

A modest enquiry into the Bishop of Bangor's preservative against the nonjurors. : Humbly offer'd to the consideration of his Lordship. Wherein is prov'd, I. That some principles by his Lordship advanced, seem destructive of all revealed religion. II. That Christ forgives sin, as he is absolutely supreme. III. That Abiathar was not high-priest, nor deposed by Solomon: and, IV. That Solomon had no ecclesiastical supremacy. Together with a defence of the succession of the Church of England clergy, against the objections of the Papists, as recited by his Lordship.
