Recites the sufferings of petitioners in defence of Parliament, the tax of 60,000 pounds monthly, the evil deeds of the army, whose remonstrance was voted (9 November) destructive to to the very being of Parliaments, who have reduced Parliament to impotence. Now, by free quartering, they are ruining the country -- Cf. Steele.
