Quire A contains the two title pages (A1v and A2r), a dedication to Lady Elizabeth Cromwel, Lady Bridget Ireton, and Lady Margaret Role (A3r-A6v), and a note "To the reader" (A7r-A8v); both of these are signed Mary Rande. Quire a contains notes endorsing the work signed by Hugh Peters (a1r-a3v), H. Jeffey (a4r-a5v), and Christopher Feake (a6r-a7v), errata (a8r), and imprimatur (a8v).
