Item Description:In two parts, each with separate dated title page. In part 1, "The way and manner of the Reformation of the Church of England declared and justified", "Of liturgies, or set formes of publique worship", "A brief discouse touching the form of prayer appointed to be used by preachers before their sermons, Can. 55." each have separate dated title page; pagination and register are continuous. In part 2, "The history of episcopacy" parts 1 and 2 each have separate dated title page, pagination, and register. The "History" is a reissue, with cancel title pages and foreword, of the 1642 edition (Wing H1722-3), of which at least part 2 was printed by Richard Hodgkinson.
The last leaf is blank.
