"The copie of a sermon preached in Lent before the Lords of the Councell, at Whiee-Hall [sic]", London, 1618, and "A sermon preached at the mariage of the right worshipful Ralfe Sadleir Esquier, and Anne Coke, eldest daughter of Edward Coke Esquire", London, 1618, have separately dated title pages; pagination and register are continuous. "A sermon preached before his Maiestie at Bagshot, September 1. Anno Dom 1616", London, 1619, has separate title page, pagination and register. "The golden chaine of mans salvation" was first published in 1606 as "The sermon preached before the King, at White-Hall, on Tuesday the eight of Januarie. 1604". "The fearefull point of hardning" was first published in 1605 as "An other sermon preached before the king at Greenewich on Tuesday before Easter, being the 26. of March. 1605". "The churches sleepe" was first published in 1606; and "The agonie of Christ" was first published in 1610 as "The copie of a sermon preached on the first Friday in Lent before the King at Whitehall.". Previous editions, containing fewer sermons, were published as "The goulden chain of mans salvation" and "Five sermons preached before the King".
