Item Description:	A translation by Anthony Woodville, Earl Rivers, of Guillaume de Tignonville's French version of "Dicta philosophorum" by Abū al-Wafāʼ Mubashishir ibn Fātik, originally written in Arabic. Imprint from colophon. Signatures: A-M·⁴ N⁶. Imperfect: the copy of this work at reel 46:1 is badly damaged, with much loss of text. The copy at reel 2348:14 is a replacement, in which quire C is misbound, partly interleaved with quire B. Reproductions of the originals in: British Library (reel 46:1) and Henry E. Huntington Library and Art Galler (reel 2348:14).
