| Item Description: | The Authorised version. With the Apocrypha. Printer's name from STC. Signatures: A (A1 + chi1.2) B-2X 2Y⁴; 3A-3L 3M⁴. Chi1 is frontispiece, chi2 is title page, both engraved. "The New Testament of our Lord and Sauiour Iesus Christ" has separate dated letterpress title page and register. Some copies have plates issued by Peake circa 1638. See Herbert, supra 476. This and STC 2311a are essentially one edition with certain sheets in two settings. In this state has 2F6v, Isaiah LXVI, 24 has "carkases". At least sheets 3G and 3K are also in two settings: 3G1r catchword is (1) "37 But" or (2) "us"; 3K3r, right column has headline (1) "Of Widows" or (2) "Of widows and elders".
