Burleigh, Jun."; no. 43-100: "Printed for Ferd. Burleigh"; Ann Baldwin's name reappears on numbers 101. Originally issued as a single half-sheet; later issues ran to as many as six folio pages. Published as a Whig response to the Tory "Mercator", edited by Daniel Defoe; appears to have been more interested in party politics than economic or foreign news, apart from its detailed account of the import trade.
