Item Description:	Known as the "The King's Psalms" compiled by St. John Fisher. London identified as the actual place of publication and T. Creede as printer's name; see STC (2nd edition). Title page has device McK. 339, another copy of the Gryphius device and presumably made for the present item. Entered in Stationers' Register to G. Cawood 18 March, 1598; assigned to W. Leake 2 July, 1602. -- STC (2nd edition). In this edition, title page, line 7 ends: 'tenta-'. Bookplate with coat of arms with text: "Collegium Sancti Iohannis Evangelistae in Academia Cantabrigiensi 1700" on t.p. verso. Signatures: A-H⁸. Imperfect: tightly bound with some loss of text.
