A vindication of the freedom and lawfulnesse, and so of the authority of the late Generall Assembly : begun at St. Andrews, and continued at Dundee, in answer to the reasons alleadged against the same in the protestation and declinator given in by some brethen at St. Andrews, and in another paper lately contrived by some, &c. 1651 : together with a review of the said vindication, plainly holding forth the nullity and unlawfulnesse of that pretended Generall Assembly, in which the aspersions cast upon the protestors in that vindication are taken off, and the answers brought unto the reasons contained in the protestation, against the freedome and lawfulnesse of that meeting and in the paper afterwards penned for clearing and confirming thereof are discussed, and the strength of these reasons established to be a null assembly /
