The second edition" (reprinted from STC 12749), and "Songs and sonnets" each have separate dated title page with "printed by Iohn Haviland" in imprint; pagination and register are continuous. The last two leaves are blank. Variant: with an extra bifolium reprinting the first stanza of "The nightingale" together with the music from the title page. "A 19th-century copy of the engr. tp has 'love' instead of 'loue' in the top right compartment"--STC. Reproduction of a photostat of the original in the Henry E. Huntington Library and Art Gallery.
