Although it is a text of the same general nature as the Latin Donatus and the English Accidences, the present text has no comparable definition of a noun. It gives 5 properties belonging to a noun: quality, figure, number, gender, and case; and 5 kinds of substative nouns: proper, appellative, collective, diminutive, verbal--STC.
