Item Description:"Limited to an "edition" of fifty sets, each in a portfolio. Each packet contains at least 25 examples of ephemera designed and produced by the Stagecoach Press, 1950 to 1961. Includes Christmas booklets, announcements, type specimen sheets, several styles of cards, folders, inserts and proofings. While generally similar, no two samplers are identical."
Jack DeVere Rittenhouse began printing in 1946 from Los Angeles before relocating to Sierra Madre, California in 1949, then Houston, Texas (1951-1962), and finally Santa Fe, New Mexico in 1962.
