"The Hunting of the Snark was hand printed in a limited edition of forty-two signed and numbered copies and 3 special leatherbound lettered copies. The typeface is New Caledonia. The paper used is Velin BFK Rives 175 g/m2. The printing was completed on a Vandercook SP15 proof press by George A. Walker and Andy Malcolm in Toronto, Canada. The plates were made at Boxcar Press in Syracuse, New York and EverLovin' Press in Kingston, Ontario. The binding was finished at Van Huizen Bookbinding in St. Catharines, Ontario. The original art was printed from wood engravings created by George A. Walker."--Colophon.
Bound in grey textured cloth with gilt lettering on blue leather title label to front cover and gilt title to spine. In slipcase covered in same cloth as book with gilt titling to cover.
The Cushing Library/Science Fiction copy is number 28 and signed by Burstein, Walker and Malcolm.
